A co-worker whose friendship I enjoy greatly has a Journal on the same online Journaling service (LiveJournal) that I do. Most of my posts are locked, especially the ones about work or sex. He wants to add me and I joked that this would never happen, which I think is totally understandable. That said, should I add him? I worry he’s going to be able to see my locked posts, you know, about him, and or, sex. Help!

Use filters! You would have to go back and fix the serurity settings on all the posts you don’t want him to read, but I think it’s worth the effort. I have friended a ton of people that don’t get to read about certain aspects of my life. There are also a ton of people whose journals I don’t read, because I use friend filters to read my livejournal as well. But in this day and age, not friending someone counts as a snub, and you like your coworker.
