The simple reason that the Harlem Globetrotters aren&#039;t in the NBA is that they&#039;re not good enough. But make no mistake about it, the best basketball players in the world, much like the best soccer players in the world, honed their skills on the streets. Wilt Chamberlain and Dr. J did it at Rucker Park in New York. Jason Kidd and Gary Payton honed their skills in Oakland. Kevin Garnett and Dwyane Wade came from the South Side of Chicago. While these guys play at the highest level, us sports people can still see the &quot;street&quot; in the greatness of these players.</description>
